plug came lose? valve got clogged up.

there are three 10mm bolts held the vtec assmebly to the head, remove those botls , and unplug the vtec soleniod and pressure switch plug, and behind it there is screen remove it carefully then clean it with some brake cleaner and put it back. then remove the top three 10mm bolts and check the vtec pressure switch for movement if it move up and down then the valve is normal.

if the vtec it is still not work then you need to check the resistance of the vtec soleniod to see it got the proper value ( 14-30 ohms). if it does not then you have a bad vtec soleniod.

 

will this cause it to not rev past 3500
