ADVANCE DESIGN Strut Features
-135,000 psi tensile strength alloy shaft, hard chromed.
-Aerospace bushing material to withstand the high lateral loads of racing.
-Rebuildable and revalveable by you, the racer. All shims, pistons, and spacers in stock at Ground Control Suspension.
-Red ® synthetic oil, custom blended to our demanding standards of viscosity and temperature stability.
-Exclusive internal double adjustment mechanism using a single shaft for greater strength (patented).
-Titanium internal components for strength with less weight.
-High flow pistons available in four different configurations for the ultimate in adjustability.
-Separate, lightweight floating piston and nitrogen chamber[/I].
Rear Struts are in perfect shape
Front Struts need new seals, ground control does the servicing for 50 doller each.
I was asking 800, But ill take 700 for the set with springs.
This is a 1200 doller suspension, and for 100 dollers you can have a perfectly functioning system. Id keep these for myself, but i came up on a set of tein ha's and i couldnt pass them up (more for my car, than this set)
I refilled the nitrogyn up on these (50 bucks to the correct 180psi)
These will not last

You might want to put the spring rates in the post as well - I spent too long looking for them before realizing they were listed in the title.
Also, what car are these for? I'm somewhat interested, although I already own two sets.
If you are considering keeping them, how about just switching the springs back to lower rates.

I just dont like the idea of nitrogin shocks, i want to adjust my shocks by a turn, not taking them to a shop...I drive my car street/race to often and its a pita to have them adjusted every time i want to do somthing diffrent..but im not sure, i might just set them in the middle and get used to it..entertaining offers still

For this amount of money, I'd like some more detail about the valving (i.e,. valved for a range, for 700/900 only... etc) ... is it possible to find out at all?
I was informed that there are 2 diffrent types of advanced deisign coilovers, hopefully hell chyme in and tell me which these are..
I was unaware of any diffrence?

Im almost positive they are valved for the given springs..
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm sure of that, just wondering if they were valved specifically for those rates, (maybe +/- 100-200lbs?) allowing the adjustments to fine tune, or they are able to handle a range of rates as well as the 700/900 springs, using the adjustments to fine tune AND adjust for rate changes.

Since the original poster isn't going to update his post I'll do it for him...
The pictures do not show the typical dual adjuster ***** at the top of the shocks. I don't know if this is because the picture just doesn't show it or they're not there. AD does make a non-adjustable shock. Any potential buyers should be clear what they are purchasing.
If you want to know what the valving is... get the serial numbers from the seller and call AD. They can give you a decent idea how they are setup. They are NOT, however going to say "they were valved for 704.3356 lb springs +/- 55.678 lbs".
The seller isn't familiar with what he's selling, but that's no excuse for potential buyers not to do some research on their own.
