Pics of Z10 Radius Install
Well, Asspenny (Craig) and I did an install of these on his car the other night...went pretty smoothly except for a minor incident w/ the center bolt...the bolt that was supplied was too long, it hit the radiator from underneath....enjoy the pics...

here's a link to a post concerning the group buy...it was around $330 for them, regular retail is like 50 bucks more...not too shabby...

Damn, those arms look real close to the tire.....no rubbage?
also, do you notice them there if you not pushing the car, like if your not launching.....i'd imagine they have some cornering benfits also....input?

very close to the tire...actually, I couldn't fit a finger in between them, that's how close it comes...
as far as it helping, it's not my car, and he's only had it on there for a day, so....
maybe he'll chime in (tomorrow, most likely)

Mainly, they prevent wheel hop when launching at high RPM's. Goto their site, http://www.z10eng.com
For those who don't want to search through the site, it says the kit "Stops forward/backward movement of the lower control arm, strengthening the lower control arm assembly." For drag and road racing applications.
for those who want to know
they do not have any ground clearance probs
unless you are slammed to the ground then maybe
certain wheel/tire combos may rub at full lock
but when are you ever at full lock
it depends on size and offset
it does work on the track and off the track
road racing . it keeps your tires planted and stable
drag it prevents wheel hop
just get a set and you will reap the benefits Ive know of a year ago
try that with the "other" brand
Craig nice setup BTW
and nice black brakes too
as for the long bolt
I have never used one there
just get a shorter one or delete it

Does the clearance between the tire and rods change when the car is on jackstands and when it is on the ground? Less than the width of a finger is not much clearance.
Okay here is the deal on the bars. You must put the center bolt. I ran it 1 day with out the center bolt and the bar was moving atleast a 1/4 to 1/2 and inch. It also made a thud noise when you accelerate and hit the brakes realy hard. I put a shorter bolt in and it elimnated all the noise. 2 days on and there are no marks on the bars from the tires, so I take it they are not rubing.
My only concerin is that the steering wheel is off to one side so we (Jason & I) think that one of the bars is tighter then the other. We just have to play around with the bars a little bit. Right now we have them at 2 turns and I still get a little bit of wheel hop, but that is for like 1 second, then they just spin. Also I'm getting a little noise from the bars moving so make sure you use some grease on the ball joints (we did not so we have to take it apart and put some on). As for it effecting the jack points or anything, everything else is normal. The only thing that is change, is you dont put the splash shield back on. We are going to cut it up a little and see if we can put it back on, but that is not a major issue or anything. Very easy to install and straight foward. I'll keep you all up to date over the next few days on how it feels.
