Apex Super AFC worth it? Or save for hondata?
Is the Apex Super AFC worth getting for fuel adjustments or should I just save up for a hondata w/ boost? Hondata stage 3 w/ boost is only 790 compared to the 300 for the apex.
Standalone with good tuning is the way to go! Your turbo car will rev through the ranges as if it came with a turbo from the factory.
Some common questions that always get the same answer here on Forced Induction:
1) JRSC or turbo? Turbo!
2) Greddy or DRAG? DRAG!
3) Apex'i VAFC or Hondata? Hondata!

I considered that question a while ago and quickly came to the conclusion that a Hondata would by far be the best choice. Especially for me, since I require reliability out of the car as my daily driver. Power is first on the list with reliability as a very close second.
it works as advertised. And with the trick that Dbman96 did it works even better since you have a map to tune from https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=75967

You guys wanted it you guys got it! Hondata it is! I just gotta get the money now hehe...then some more for tuning.
How much exactly is the Hondata 3b? I just bought the Drag III kit yesterday and I'm anxious to put it on. Is it possible to tune w/o a a/f controller, maybe manually from the engine?
