Qucik Question ABout VAFC Install

Default Qucik Question ABout VAFC Install

Ive got a d15b7 so a 93 dx coupe non vtec im going to hookup the vafc today and im just trying to figure out a couple of things first theres 11 wires from the harness , I dont have vtec so i know not to hookup the Purple and Pink WIre(Vtec singal out and in) WHat about the VTM? WHat is that? And the Pressure signal output and input wires are those for vtec?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

ok i figured out that i dont hookup the vtm wire.Blue wire.


What about the pressure signal in and output wires?

I dont think you have a VTM signal. When i installed my VAFC i noticed that my VTM signal was wired into my swap. So my car didnt originally come with it.

why do you want a VAFC and you dont even have VTEC?
you gonna tune the A/F on you 108hp motor?
it is a waste of time if ya ask me

Actually it isnt a waste of time the motor is being turbocharged.
So thanks for the dumb remark. and i got the vafc cause im adding a 5th injector.

Actually H22A EG is kind of right and at the same time wrong. I would have gone with a SAFC instead of a VAFC because of the VTEC factor. I mean if your gonna swap heads down the road then you made the right choice.

Where you able to hook it up right? Or still having troubles?

yeah seems kinda weird to be hooking up a vafc for a non vtec setup. Even with a turbo upgrade. Get an safc they ar really made for what you're about to do.

Yeah i got it hooked up no problems, just left the 3 wires out,
I dont know if you read my post, the reason i got a vafc is because im going to use the vtec control for my 5 injector.

if i were ya i would slap that VTEC head on there b4 the turbo
i think it would be better than the non vtec
