well you can get any piston you like since anyone will stock that now. but to make a car unstreetable your going to change your entire setup cams, pistons, p and p head, whether your going to long rod it, or use a bigger crank. I mean there are alot of things but whats your main goal? so everyone can give a opinion on how you get there.
p.s. you got all motor ***** on your sig
p.s. you got all motor ***** on your sig
this is my current setup...
1998 B18C1 block
2000 ITR head
1998 ITR transmission with LSD
act stage 4 clutch
aasco 8.8lb flywheel
eagle i beam rods
endyn rollerwave 11.5:1 pistons
skunk2 stage 2 cams
skunk2 stainless valves
jun valve springs
crower retainers
rc 370cc injectors
aem fuel rail
aem FPR b&m FP guage
str 70mm throttle body
AEBS intake manifold
AEM cam gears
AN-R compact street header
Apexi World Sport (choking the **** outta my setup)
hondata stage2 p28
Crane Cams hi-6 ignition,
Crane Cams lx91 coil pack
MSD pro cap
MSD 8mm wires
apexi vafc
NOS pro fogger directport wet kit (70 shot)
walbro 255 fuel pump
Autometer ProComp Light A/F guage
Autometer ProComp light Oil pressure guage
skunk2 short shifter
STR cam seals
My goal is to have great low end torque, and a nice top end. i mean isnt that everyones? im an autoX guru, however, the occasional road race is always a good thing, ide rather be overpowered for autoX then under for circuit/ road race. Suspension is already in order. Also what headwork is involved going higher than 13:1? i have heard of some clover design to modify the combustion chamber, but never got any detailed info about it. Thanks in advance

haha, yeah once i get a new shell ill drop a k in that maybe, we'll see. maybe i could get a tsx instead of a tl, and do some hytech goodness on that.
as for vafc and hondata, i use the vafc to adjust my vtec point. thats it. granted i know all you flamers out there are gonan say, why do you do that, it ***** with your tune and fuel maps.. i do it so if i drive it on the street, im not in vtec on the highway. jdm f.d. is not very highway friendly.
and as for the slow comment, the car was pinned on the hot line. i ran it once, and put it on the trailer. when i got back to my shop, i added 1.5 gallons of fluid. (bone dry) stupid heater core hose was leaking only when the car was warm.

yeah ur motor over heated ... i wonder what those roler wave cough cough stock gsr pistons look like ... NIck u dont know ur *** from ur elbow stop bulpshitting about ur motor and tell everyone whats realy up with it ..
if you want some good high compression pistons i reccomend looking at IB spec wiseco pistons. http://www.importbuilders.com
ask jeff what he has........i think he usually stock some 13:1+ pistons that are ultra light weight and make great power.
