2003 Accord Rumors
I've been told that Honda is changing the body style for the 2003 Accords. I'm interested in purchasing a Accord Sedan...but, I've seen the version the Japanese have (Euro-R, ect.) And they look cleeean in my opinion. This is a body style I favor over the current U.S. sedans.
If anyone has any information, or photos, of what the new 2003 Accords will look like, post, discuss it. I'm sure were all curious. In the meantime, look at what the japanese have.

well, I hope Honda has a winner in suprise form for the US market, b/c they've really lost it with their latest lineups... as much as I don't want to admit it, but Mazda and more so Nissan have really produced a comeback... watch out! While I like the 6G Accords, they're just too heavy for their power output... plus the 7G Civics look like doo-doo, and the new RSXs resemble a Cavalier / Civic hybrid... Honda really needs to find a design to dig themselves back into the market that they've already begun to see losses in...
check out this site it has the jap. cars http://www.honda.co.jp/auto/
i agree, the overseas styling is far superior on the 6G Accords... while i was living in Prague last year, i caught a glimpse of two Accord Type-Rs, and I must say that they are definitely head-turners... If only Honda had been brave enough to tempt the US market with the ATR...

where am i supposed to go on the http://www.honda.co.jp/auto/ to see the 03 Accords? can anyone provide a more direct link for those of us who need hooked on phonics for the japanese language?
I would not base the next U.S. Accord on the JDM (world) version. Our past gen (current) Accord has been larger than theirs. Looking at the competition from Camry, Altima, Maxima, it's safe to say the next Accord will be even larger, more room, taller, more powerful, and with a stiffer body. That's doesn't say much, but that's what's expected gen after gen.
I hope you all realize that Japan has adopted the US body style lately!

Actually, theirs has the same body style than ours. As big.

DROOOOOLLL!!! Holy ****. I am in love with these cars (and my gf, she made me say it). Honda makes good cars, but the decision not to bring the ATR and SiR into the US is a bad move.
Thanks alot khoa...heres pics for all of you too lazy to click the link:

I think every one of those cars is ugly.
The "Accord Coupe" looks like a cl, and the sedan looks like an audi.
Um...I *hope* this isnt what the 2003 hondas will look like in the u.s.

The headlights on all of the new cars coming out look really bad. They all look like ford focus lights or something. Hell i almost like the ford focus design better than the new civic hatch thats coming out.
well, those "pulled-back" headlights are becoming quite frequent on all newer cars these days... take notice of Toyota (Lexus inclusive) especially among many other car companies... and also be cognizant of the fact that many cars are can be contraversial in design when they come out... but that's the evolution of car design... i remember when the 5G Accords came out and many people criticized the design... but after 95, everyone LOVED it...
