Default Import Auto Salvage.com Is Officially Godlike...

I just purchased rear discs off there and they threw in the 4040prop valve for absolutely nothing at all. Then I called back and ordered the front discs for the integra and they took care of me in like 30 seconds. They knew my order number without me telling them, they new my name... charged the same credit card, and on top of all that did it for like 250 shipped. They took em off a 1998, with only 17,000 miles. These guys are great, they helped me out with a few questions I had about seats and everything. I ordered Saturday night at 10, so I figured that they wouldn't even get the order til sometime Monday, and they're shipped today. When I called just now to ask about front brakes, bam... shipped tomorrow. SOOOOOOOO HAPPY. Can't wait til I get the stuff, and take pics for this thread to vouch even more!

IAS = 5 thumbs up

Anyone else have good experiences with them?

NOTE: Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I'm just amazingly satisfied with them.

yea me and my friends have gotten a few motor swaps from them and they are great. we bought a b16 one time and when we installed it and fired it up there was something wrong with it, cant remember what though, anyways we called them and they said no problem just bring back the other motor and they gave us another for free just an exchange. also if we were missing parts all we had to do was tell them what we were missing and they gave it to us with no hassle. I love those guys.

From what I hear their engines are comparible to HMotors, JDM Inc. and the best of them among clean-ness and completeness too.

I'm too happy for words right now.

Try calling up like Osaka and asking them for the broken sensor that came with your engine. *in broken english* "Ahhh sowwy all motaz come az iz"

I'm glad you guys had a good experience too!

So far today I have had 2 good customer service experiences... first being ImportAutoSalvage...

Then I called up Nights Auto... the ebay company which sells brembo rotors, axxis (PBR) pads etc... and they hooked me up because I had to change my front rotor order to integra rotors. So now I'm all set for an all around integra disc swap...

I got Brembo Cross-Drilled Cadium Plated rotors all around, PBR (Axxis, same company) Metal master brake pads, Import auto salvage threw in the 4040prop valve, modacar hooked up the energy suspension bushings kit...

All i need is an RS MC/BB and Earls S/S brake lines, and I'm all set... then POSSIBLY a camber kit... even though everyone says just get it as close to stock camber as possible, and make sure the toe is adjusted... I can afford new falken azenis once every 50,000 miles... they're down to like 60 a piece for 15's... what do you people think? some say you can adjust the rear with bolts, so just get a cheap front kit... ?!?!?

I'm gonna set my tokico Illuminas on halfway, and do a 2" drop all around... i think they're 6 position adjustable if im correct? so 3/3? anyone else got any suggestions?

IMPORTAUTOSALVAGE = A++++++++
NIGHTSAUTO = A++++++++++

Oh my final question... is there a way to paint splinedrives? I got a brand new set of tuner lug nuts with wheel locks... splinedrives for $60 bucks yes i know where to get em if you need a set HOLLER AT YOUR WHITE BOY!

but should I just annodize them red and paint my rota center cap bronze?

Tell them Chris Rose sent you. It's definetly worth looking into.. I was set on an ebay auction until "toEknEEg" did the post on his full teg swap, mentioned import auto salvage... so did "=GAMEOVA=" both of them had success with them... and all around my brakes should be here before friday... that's amazing free 4040prop valve...

Sooooooo happy, WANT TO TOUCH THE HINEY! Modacar is your typical online store, good job on their stuff I ordered too.

But IAS and NightsAuto.com (coming soon, look up their ebay auctions under "nightsauto") are great.

I've been real happy when dealing with IAS. I've ordered rear discs, rear sways, and a few other bits and pieces from them.

Lol, I've never seen someone as happy and as exciting as you before. Almost seems like you've been ripped off a lot in the past.

But anyways, it's good to know that there are still good shops out there with excellent service.

You look under their JDM inventory, then you can just press "view all inventory". To order the big stuff like that I'm pretty sure that you have to call them up. I usually only like dealing online, because most e-stores you call are ********. These people are amazing.

JDMNinja ... haha... yes I've been ripped PLENTY of times in the past. These people just did such a good job with customer service it's amazing. I got an email today saying my stuff had been sent. I looked at the scheduled delivery date... TOMORROW! Then I got another email just now about the front setup... scheduled delivery date... TOMORROW ALSO! That's insane... I ordered the rear Saturday night at like midnight so I figured it wouldnt be shipped until yesterday anyway. Then I ordered the front, and they shipped em both this quick? And on top of that.... overnight from North Carolina I believe? And the stuff weighs like 96.0 pounds! IAS for life... I'm gettin it tattooed on my forehead

Awesome, they weigh about 96 pounds if I'm right... I would still figure even being three hours away it would take at the least 2 days to get there. They'll be here tomorrow for me too. That isn't bad at all, were you satisfied? Did they send you a clean setup and everything?

there inventory is constantly changing so the website is basically used just to advertise there contact information...

I would call them if you're serious or email them if you don't mind waiting for a response...

well one downfall, ImportAutoSalvage & HMotorsOnline never answered my emails when i did an inquiry online. They do answer your calls though.

btw ImportAutoSalvage site navigation really sucks

HMotorsOnline=good site navigation

Had everything that I needed and they even included all of the rear control arms. Only thing was the guy that I talked to said that they would have a good set of rotors. Rotors were in pretty bad shape, but no biggie, because you really should get a new set of rotors and pads anyways.

Good stuff...yea I got new rotors and pads on the way, just for safe measure. I'm just hoping everything else is in good shape. I'm really not too worried though, because from what I hear, with IAS they give you a parts warranty so if something is broken, they will send out a replacement ASAP. The brakes I got in the rear came from a 1998 with 17,000 miles. That's amazingly low for that car, so I'm not very worried. I'm hoping the front came off the same car, but if not, I just want to make sure they are in good condition...

When all this stuff gets here does anyone know what I can clean it all off with? Brakleen or somethin? I just wanna get all the dust, gunk, whatever off of it...

As far as IAS site navigation, most people are correct...it's not the best system in the world, but it is in no means the worst either. Calling them is the best way to get things done. That's what I'll be doing

Side Note: If anyone has an RS MC/BB for sale let me know I need one ASAP. Also, is the RS MC/BB the 15/16? Thanks!
