Default anybody that was recently scammed by HybriDNA please look here!

His name is Steven(pick any spelling) Mancuso, Steven Man, Steven Manu, Marcos Mancuso, and many others. If you find any of these names ANYWHERE, stay away from him. If you currently have a problem, please post your problem here and go here http://www.fraud.org/ andhttp://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp and fill out the complaint forms. The local authorities look for repeated offenses and patterns in order to prioritize violations. It is important to fill out the form right away and thoroughly. Give them any info you can.

Thank you,

Chris

If anyone has any info they would like to share, IM me or AIM me @ Redlineit8500

This guy apparently has been doing this for a long time now and I do not care about the money anymore I would like to see this career criminal put away.

This is my story:

(9:57 PM 1/20/2004) Redlineracer: Got any pics of the tranny? Also, how many miles are on it? I can get $550 to you on Friday
(9:57 PM 1/20/2004) Redlineracer: Let me know either way
(2:30 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: no pics sorry. where you located? 88k miles on the tranny
(2:32 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: I live in MD but I would rather have it shipped to my work.
zip code 20036

(2:33 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: oh ok. yeah.. well thats deals sounds pretty good. hmm.. so friday?
(2:38 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: yeah friday, when I get paid. How do you want it?
(2:49 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: Postal moneyorder would be fine. hmm. somthing of that nature. sorry i don't got paypal...like everyone else. let me know if thats cool
(2:54 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: yeah thats fine. The only thing that I ask for is some kind of tracking number/freight number once its shipped.
(2:56 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: oh ok thats no problem. Are you going to send it regular mail or priority, its a few dollars any who.
(2:58 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: probably next business day so you can get it on monday or tuesday depending on how far out in the boonies you are

(3:01 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: oh ok. thats fine. Im in FL
(3:07 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: yeah but sometimes, dependant on your zip, USPS will say "it might take 2 days for that zip code..." so I just wanted to warn ya. Anyway, can you do me a favor and email me your info(name, address, phone, etc) I won't use your phone number of course, unless you want me too.
JDM_surplus@hotmail.com
(3:14 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: info sent. send me your info back.
(3:21 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: Ok info sent
(3:23 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: cool. well if your as serious as you appear to be. I will hold it until friday. if i don't hear from then... imma put it for sale again. fair?
(3:26 AM 1/21/2004) Redlineracer: sounds good to me. I'll PM/email you a tracking# for the money order
(3:38 AM 1/21/2004) HybriDNA: ok. let me know. peace
(6:21 PM 1/23/2004) Redlineracer: Steve,
Ok I overnighted the money order and you should get it by Monday at the latest. It requires a signature so if you're not home you'll probably get a yellow slip. Also, they might actually try to deliver it on Sunday if your local post office has someone working on Sunday. Here is the tracking#

ER707641467US

Its not showing up yet on the website at the time of this email but it should be up there later.

Thanks Again,

Chris

(6:48 PM 1/26/2004) HybriDNA: Sent tranny out today usps regual gound shipping. 0303 1290 0000 5557 8464. Not sure if it will show up yet. You should recieve tranny this weekend or early next week. let me know when you get it.
(6:54 PM 1/26/2004) Redlineracer: Great thanks alot! The weather up here isn't that great right now and will probably slow delivery down but I'll let you know when it gets here.

(8:16 AM 2/3/2004) Redlineracer: The tracking number you gave me says it was delivered to some guy in CA. Send me the tracking number again to make sure that you gave me the right number.

Is this it? 0303 1290 0000 5557 8464

Let me know ASAP

Thanks

(7:32 PM 2/9/2004) Redlineracer: Anything new on the tranny?
(8:37 PM 2/9/2004) HybriDNA: Yea James in CA called me 2 days ago.. still havn't got it but will be soon.. ill let you know. sorry about all of this once again.
(10:55 PM 2/9/2004) Redlineracer: It's alright man. I'm just checking up on it. Thanks for the update.

(5:17 PM 2/27/2004) Redlineracer: whats up with the tranny man?

This is the info he sent me via email:
Steve Man
743 Casterton Cir
Davenport, FL 33897
863-242-1084

I've tried calling the ******* be apparently its not his number.

Also, his real name seems to be Steve Mancuso. The jackass just forges the rest of his last name on the money order you send him.

Anybody, else have anything they want to share?

Damn, I feel for you. It's like the 3rd time you've been scammed on H-T? That's why I try not to buy expensive items on H-T. Bump for a good guy.

Thanks alot man. This isn't my third time being scammed but both and only times I've bought from a private party on I've been scammed. The reason why I've started this post is to organize the information posted to the internet and telemarketing fraud bureau.

I tend to stay away from things that aren't backed by paypal. Use a credit card through paypal and if he ***** you, **** him over by filing with your creditcard company.

it sucks

You do realize that this is a Federal Crime that he is committing. Once that money order hits the mail and he accepts and cashes it and does not fulfill his end of the bargain, he has committed a Federal crime. Or so I've heard. Makes sense though right?

So he lives in Florida? I am sure there are a few guys here who would love to pay Steve a visit.

Bump

Yes as mentioned before it is a federal crime. Two years ago not on this board but other one the seller wanted only US postal M/O. Well me not thinking went ahead sent it and didnt get anything, well i contacted the guy and he said he never received it, so went to my post office and they said that a M/O is considered lost after 60 days. SO bam! there i thought this guy is thinking that ill forget about it and he'll have my money for no product shown. Well waited the 60 days went to the post office they put a tracer and found out that the guy did indeed cash it. Well the post office went head and filed charges and return my money minus the fee for placing a trace. So if this guy scammed you via money order you can fight back. anyways good luck!
