92 Integra w/auto tranny. My dad says he was changing the cap and rotor. He started it up, ran great for about 20 seconds, then just shut off.

I have tested primary and secondary resistances on the coil and it is ok. Went through the steps for diagnosing the ignitor according to my FSM. Replaced the ignitor and still have no spark.

Anyone have a good idea?

Or any locals have a spare distributor I could test it with? Any help is appreciated!

check you ecu fuse..

 

maybe you distributor is bad.

 

Yea the dizzy could have gone out. Check over the wiring to make sure its getting power and nothing got fried or anything.

 

make sure plug wires are in the right order as well

 

Try the old cap and rotor.

 

it can also be your main relay.
