FS: 1991 Acura INTEGRA $1,000 or BO in North NJ
PLEASE READ ENTIRE THREAD BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS.
Listed below is my 1991 Integra LS 5spd. It has 131k miles on the car. Recent maintenance has included new front shocks, new clutch, new tires. Oil changed every 3k miles.
VIN# JH4DA9354MS009559
The prob: I was accelerating from a light and was going about 35mph when my car just died. I removed the valve cover and noticed that the timing belt was snapped as you can see in the pics. I don't have the time or money to invest into this car. The interior is very good condition, There are no rips or tears in any seats. Non-smoker car. It just needs a vaccuming. The car is straight and unmolested. However there are 2 areas of concern. 1 is the passenger side wheel well has some rust. The other is the passenger side fender is damaged. This happened during the winter when there was ice....I slid and hit a Caprice's bumper. I will inlcude a NEW fender with the car.
You will notice that I removed my intake and speakers. I will be installing the stock stuff back into the car ASAP.
These are the best pics I can get bc I had the car towed to my house and its in my garage now.
I'm asking $750 or best offer. Email me at mr2fanatic@optonline.net or AIM: MR2TFANATIC
If the only thing wrong was a timing belt, I'd replace it and sell the car for $2500. Someone who buys this car needs to do some diagnostic work. B Series motors are interference motors, so there is a good chance that a couple valves are bent. New heads go for about $75-150. Therefore if you are mechanically inclined, this is an easy fix and a great daily driver for cheap. I'd fix it but dont have the time now due to getting married. Everyone keeps asking me if the only thing wrong is the timing belt....That is not the point....There is (probably) more here than a timing belt issue, so if you cant work on cars, don't buy this.

This is a cheap car that needs someone's attention. If you can fix the belt and any other damage that was done, this is a cheap and reliable car.

he's not a lowballer. the seller doesn't even know if there's head damage or anything else. basically its a gamble and $500 is a fair amount of money to spend on a chance
