does anybody know of a site that can give me a quote right away. the only one i konw of is progressive and they charge way too much.

yea, only one i know is progressive. I'm paying $400 yr/ for liability with progressive...i got a bad record tho.

 

Dont know about online quotes, but i got insurance with farmer insurance. I got full coverage for 04' ninja 636 for $1200 for 6 months, but i do have a accident on my record. My friend with a clean record got full coverage for $648 for 6 months

Damn i had no idea that motorcycle insurance was so much!!! I have a crap record and <U>was</U> thinking about getting a bike, but f-that. I pay 840 every 6 for liability on a 91 civic lx

 

Go to Geico or Progressive. Both do online quotes. But if you call you will get a more accurate quote.

I'm paying $270 a year just for liability thru Geico...all the qoutes from everyone else I"ve gotten for full coverage has been around $3,000-$4,500 per year

oh yeah...23 with a perfect record on a 2004 636

 

progressive was a lot cheaper than my current insurance provider.

hey if you cant find online quotes try searching on the motorcycle forum for insurance...thats what i did and gathered all the different insurance companies that people were using and went online to find there phone #...its going to take awhile but not a lot of companies do online quotes...but its kinda stressfull when you talk to 10 rep and they ask you the same questions over and over and over again...

but thats just how it goes...but goodluck ...finding insurance sucks *****...its very stressful

 

I checked with my insurance company(USAA) and they said 330 for 6mo. with full coverage on a 99 cbr600. That is not bad at all

$55 a month for full coverage...**** yeah thats not bad..i'd kill for that rate
