This new version is full stainless steel with 2.5 piping. It's quiet with deep grumbling sound. It's not annoying. It's sweet and just right. Even when you redline it, it won't set off alarms like Apex N1. I'm not saying Apex is bad. My brother has one for his S13.

This is taken from Greddy site:

It wasn’t easy to improve on the popular GReddy SP system. But through customer feedback from over 10 years of use and testing, GReddy redesigned the SP as a full stainless steel cat-back exhaust system that is similarly priced to the original SP system. The new SP2 features a 304 stainless steel muffler canister with extra strong 430 SS end caps that feature a deep, high polish. Large, high volume mufflers provide maximum flow with a deep, pleasing tone and are especially effective when used on vehicles with aftermarket turbocharger systems. The unique outer curled oval tip (115 x 110mm dia.) is embossed with the famous GReddy logo. Employing state-of-the-art robotic seam welding, the single wall canisters feature increased rigidity for maximum durability and life. With over 35 types of internal perforated tubes, each SP2 application is specifically tuned for the best combination of sound and performance. The new SP2 also features thick walled (1.5mm), polished 304 stainless steel mandrel bent piping for better resonance and vibration control and enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. New lightweight, flared and stamped stainless steel flanges are also used to provide improved sealing characteristics. The GReddy SP2 Exhaust System will initially be available for over 50 popular Japanese vehicles with more to come as they are developed

Most prices I've seen are around $460+ship, but some are as low as $450 and others are higher, like $480.

This was one of my options as an exhaust system for my CRX, but I don't know if I like the seemingly "largeness" of the system overall - muffler, tip, etc. Maybe it's just the pictures, which is why I asked about daytime pics.

I also like the Invidia exhaust for the CRX (even though I don't really like canister systems) as well as the HKS sport (which I'd buy for the hatch and have shortened).

Check back tomorrow around 5 or 6p. I'll take pictures of it at work.

Here's a close up of the exhaust tip

I have mixed feelings about the "curled lip." I don't know but I guess I should appreciate it for what it is. Back when I had my stock exhaust I've been saying to myself "I wish I had this...." Now that I do, I take it for granted. Considering the fact that I got this for $450 no tax. I should consider myself lucky. Although the guys I bought it from aren't too happy.

It was initially a toss between RSR Exmag GTII and Greddy SP2. I went with the latter because I was saving $35. My brother tells me "you don't buy exhausts very often so you might as well go all out..." In spite of this he likes the style, sound and look of it. His friends who saw the SP2 on mine didn't like the curled lip but he didn't care because he says that it makes it unique.

I like my thermal because at low rpm's it is not high pitched. It has a real deep sound to it. I have headers to so when I hit 4k it starts to get loud but it still does not sound like a weed wacker. It also has a very clean and original look to it and the tip is shaped awsome I think. Thats my thoughts on thermal.
