Default To pursue justice or not... That is the question...

Seeing how jdmspoonitr's case is going... I don't know if I should even bother with a guy who scammed me on some JDM ITR HID Headlights... I payed $450 for them and the seller supposedly sent them 3 months ago and still have not arrived... He said he used the wrong shipping label so there could have been a mix up, because he lives in Canada and I live in the US... Whatever the case... What do you guys think? Should I try to get him or just let him off? I mean $450 is a lot of money, but damn... its been a long time since jdmspoonitr's first posted about his case and still has not been resolved...

jdm has a lot more chance than you getting his money back. The guy lives in Canada. Tough times man.

you live in michigan? isn't that close enough to drive up n cross the border n demand your money back. If there was a mix up it should be sent back to the shipper so he probably has it by now. I suggest you drive up there n get your money unless he was in ca or tx.. then i wouldn't since that would be too far.. but michigan n canada.. g-luck..

Berrien Springs is near Benton Harbor - closer to us in Chicago than to the Canadian border. It's about 437 miles from Toronto, the nearest of the big Canadian cities, and even further from Montreal and Vancouver.

Post the scammer's name, I live in Toronto, I wouldn't mind passing by his house for a little friendly persuasion

Spring break is going to be fun for me. I go to pick up some parts in LA, meet with a couple other guys and head down to San Diego to collect. Any Socal peeps wanna roll through???

No bats though....police is gonna be there too. Just in case this idiot is dumb enough to pull weapons. I have exercised a lot of restraint. I seriously wanted to go shoot this kid in his knees. But I think I rather see him cry in the squad car.

TAKEN FROM CRX/EF FORUM:

hello all i just would like to tell a little story.. i have been on ht for some time now and i know there are good people on here.. but i had a little "spat" with another ef member who i gave my word i wouldnt mention.. i paid 450 for a new y1 cable trans and a t/b witch i had to have.. anyway this person had me mail a check to his HOME RESIDENCE other than paypall.. he lives in upstate ny.. i live in pittsburgh.. at first i thought man im going to get ripped off but i was assured by others that this wouldnt happen.. so i sent it.. BAD MISTAKE!!!

SO 2 WEEKS 5 DAYS GO BY STILL NO NOTHING.. so now im Mad.."ROADTRIP"
400+ miles and were at his address.. myself and 2 large friends.. packed in a truck for this kid to come out.. so we sit in front of his house right.. hours go by.. finally guess whos going to school..ahhh yesssss mr "istoleyourshit"
comes walking out of his house..so we get out of the car and aproach him.. i tell him who i was and he turned white as a color crayon..lol.. you should have seen the look on this kids face.. so we talk and he says "i sold your tranny to someone else.. i say "ok..give me the t/b and a little of my money no big deal right.. WRONG.. NOW HE SOLD BOTH.. so i get a little upset.. i ask him how old he was.. he said i turned 18 jan 9th.. i say ok come out here im taking my 450 in cash out on your ***..lol.. so my friend all 6ft2 260lbs grabs him by the shirt.. the kid starts screaming.. at like 730 in the am.. in his front yard pinned up against daddys vw 1.8t.. so out comes dad.. troy lets the boy go and we tell his father what the deal is.. once dad hears this story.. he looks at his son and says"you stole almost 500 bucks from someone you gave your address too..lol.. son you are truely a dumb fu**!! wheres their money.. kid says i spent it.. so dad takes us on a little tour of the house and we go to the garage..theres a perfectly new B18C!!! still in the plastic AND ON THE PALLET!!!!.. along with my trans and my t/b.. dad told his son hes going to learn a little lesson..DAD GAVE US THE FULL SWAP!!! MY TRANS & T/B AND A SOHC GREDDY TURBO KIT.. STILL IN THE BOX.. THEN DAD OFFERED
US A NEW SET OF SI WHEELS WITH A BOX FULL OF WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS JUNK.. SO NOW THE KID IS CRYING HIS *** OFF.. DADS SCREAMING AT HIM TO GO INSIDE..WE LOAD ALL THE STUFF IN THE TRUCK AS THE BOYS FATHER TELLS US HES GOING TO SELL HIS SONS SWEET 93 HATCH SI.. now then the boys father notices our plates "from pa" and asks us where we came from.. when we told him.. he went in the house grabbed his son.. brought him out made him say sorry.. AND GAVE US MY 450 IN CASH...!!!! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE..

SO FINALLY WE GET HOME.. ITS DARK.. SO WE PULL INTO THE GARAGE AND START UNLOADING ALL THIS STUFF.. THERES THIS BIG BROWN BOX THAT LOOKS LIKE JUNK... NO NO.. INSIDE THE BOX...LOL...A B SERIES DRAG TURBO MANIFOLD,OIL LINES,OIL PAN WITH OIL LINES READY TO GO.. AND GET THIS...
A NEW IN THE BOX.. TURBONETICS TO4E TURBO.... UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TURNS OUT THE BOYS FATHER IS A STATE TROOPER IN NY..LOL..

you learn a few things being a bad seller

1) if your parents happen to be cops..dont steal
2) dont steal from people with nothing to lose..PEOPLE WITH NOTHING TO LOSE ARE THE MOST DANGEROUS PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!
3) DONT MESS WITH ANYONE FROM PITTSBURGH.. WE WILL SHOW UP AT YOUR DOOR!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST.. DONT MESS WITH ANYONE DRIVING AN EF.. EITHER YOU LOSE THE RACE OR LOSE 5000 BUCKS + A SET OF SI WHEELS..

truely one of lifes lessons learned the hard way!!!! BETTER HIM THAN ME!!!!!!!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL..

I SIMPLY CANT BELIEVE IT.. I GOT 850 CASH FOR THE SOHC KIT..I SOLD IT TO ONE OF HIS FRIENDS..LOL...HE WAS TRYING TO GET 1700 WITH THE FMIC..LOLOL

I KNOW YOU GUYS WHO HAVE GOTTN BURNT TIME AND TIME AGAIN WOULD LOVE THIS STORY.. I DIDNT MENTION THERE WAS A STATE TROOPER CAR IN THE GARAGE.. WHEN WE WENT IN I THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO JAIL FOR GRABBING HIS SON ON HIS OWN PROPERTY.. I CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME BELIEVE THAT HAPPENED!!!!!!

PSALMS 51.. READ IT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND

THANKS GUYS..

BRIAN

Does anybody on this forum live in Winnipeg? If you do, any help would be nice... Just want someone to talk to him and see if he even sent the stuff... He said he sent it... and since it must be lost or what not, he said he will send another set and if he can't get his hands on a HID set he said he will refund $100 and send the non-HIDs... Even that was a month ago... Now its been a week since he has stopped responding to my emails... I'm starting to get pissed...

jdmspoonitr, you should set up a meet in SoCal for one of the days that you're here! Especially the same day that you plan on going to SD. Leave a note in your thread that you're heading to SD to catch a scammer, I'm sure you'll have a nice little caravan of angry ITR owners to head over to his house with you!!

Well, I have tried everything I can to contact this guy. I have even looked for his phone number online, but his address does not show up anywhere. There are a bunch of Raymundos that live in Winnipeg but no address or phone number is registered under his name, which probably means he is still a minor or still lives with his parents. I was wondering if I should send him this email or not? If he even had the slightest intentions of actually sending me a second pair of headlights, this email might scare him off, however if he has never been an honest seller, this might scare him a bit.

I never wanted to do this, but you leave me no choice. You have ignored all my emails for nearly a week. If you do no provide me with a copy of the shipping label and receipt, I will have to contact the local Winnipeg Police Department and report internet fraud. I will also contact the Internet Fraud division of the FBI which can make things a bit complicated for all of us. I do not want to do this, but if you do keep ignoring my emails, I will have to resort to these actions. If you have a phone number I can contact you at or online instant messenger so that we can talk, please email me back with furthur information. I hope you are an honest seller and hope things don't have to get this complicated. And if you have sent the second shipment by any chance, please send me a tracking number. Thank you and have a nice day.

Euntaik Ha

Tell me what you guys think about this, I'm actually a bit iffy on if I should head over to his address because there are so many Raymundos around there and they might all be kinda related to him or what not. I am not even sure if he lives in the address he has provided me but I did send him a money order and he said he cashed it so he must live there right? Someone, anyone please, if you live in Winnipeg, please check him out for me. Any help would be very much appreciated.
