2001 Integra Type R in P. Yellow

16,911 original miles (chassis)

approx. 2,000 miles on built high performance motor.

This car runs 12-second in 1/4 mile

been to the track for one test and tune session
heres video of best run
http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~fbone...n.mpg

Brief History about this car: This car was purchased on August, 2002 and was a theft recovery.

According to Car Fax report, the original owner bought the car in January, 2001 in San Jose, CA . The car was stolen sometime in the beginning 2002 and was a total loss by insurance company

because the interior/engine/wheel were stolen. This car has NEVER been into any accidents, it was only missing parts.

The car was purchased through my friend, who owns a car shop, and begin my Type R project. Because of my busy schedule, the car was finished in the beginning of 2003. It has passed the smog check, and brake and lights inspection.

It is also currently registered in California state and most importantly, it has passed a strict California salvaged title car inspection through CHP.

Engine spec:

This engine makes 207hp at the wheels and 139tq at the wheels.

US Integra LS B18 short block

89mm micro-polished crankshaft

81.5mm Endyn Roller-Wave pistons with rings. Compression ratio is 11.3:1

Integra LS shot-penned connecting rods with ARP rod bolts.

complete machine work done on block (bore, hone, cleaned, balanced)

complete rotating assembly balanced

JDM B16A (pr3-2) cylinder head

Ported and polished head

Skunk2 Stage 2 camshafts

Skunk2 adjustable cam gears (blue)

Crower dual valve springs (good for 10,000 rpm)

Crower titanium retainers.

Integra Type R valve keepers.

Integra Type R intake valves

Ferrera S/S exhaust valves

High compression head-gasket (1-layer)

ARP head bolts/nuts.

Race valve job (radius-cut valve seat, new valve seals)

JDM Civic Type R Tranny

JDM 4.785 Final Drive

Balanced and lighten (2 lbs off) Integra Type R flywheel

Clutch master Stage 4 clutch plate, clutch disc with all OEM bearings.

Other misc. engine modifications:

Hondata S200 piggy-back unit (tuned 4 hours on dyno to achieve 200+ hp at the wheels)

OBD2b - OBD1 adapter harness

P28 ECU

RC 310cc injectors, AEM fuel rail, B&M fuel pressure regulator, Walbro in-tank fuel pump.

Poly. engine mount inserts.

DC JDM 4-1 exhaust manifold

1998 JDM ITR intake manifold

1998 JDM ITR throttle body

AEM Cold Air Intake

(This list will keep updating as I can not think of all the parts right now)

Note: This engine is practically brand new with approx. 2,000 miles with all new parts (timing belt, water pump, oil pump, oil pan, all gaskets and seals) I have spent over $8,000 in this new engine build-up (receipts included!)

Car interior/exterior condition: the car is clean inside out although there are something that I want the buyer/bidder to know: the interior is all OEM Type R EXCEPT the front seats are Del Sol seats with Integra seat rails, there are no rear seats (I can help you purchase rear seats for $250 if needed), there are no spare tire / tools / jacks that came with the car. The wheels are not from a 2001 (grey color) model, they're from a 1998 (white color) model. there is a small dent on left fender, right fender, left quarter panel, and rear trunk. (these are small dents [see pics] and can be repainted at around $500 at most) The emblems are missing and so is the OEM Type R wing.

My guarantee to you: "this car engine is in very good condition and will make over 200hp at the wheels." I can go dyno the car with the higher bidder. I have spent 4+ hours tuning this car on dyno and have spent hundreds of dollars on just tuning. This car is fined tuned. I have dyno sheets showing car makes the power that I claimed. I have timeslips showing the car runs the time (12-second in 1/4 mile) that I claimed.

I do not take trades. I do not need another car. Cash talks.

asking price is 13,500

Nice (re)build. Why did you go ls/vtec instead of type r engine? I know it would have cost more, but you could have made that back (now) when you sell the car.

Regardless, nice clean car, and fair price imo.

honestly, i own a salvaged vehicle that is registered.

after it passes the CHP inspection, consider yourself
"good to go"

seriously..CHP's were bitches. my other friend with a salvaged gsr got lucky.
cop was lazy/didn't give a f*ck..saw that the block vin matched the body vin, and my friend was on his way. i, however..as many others, were not so lucky. had to come back like 2 times with receipts/parts list/etc.

so if it's registered in CA...even tho it may not look smoggable (unless you pay the auto pass fee ) looking at the engine setup, vin wise with body parts you should be ok.

good luck with the sale bro...nice car.

thanx evol

again im surprised so many people are so sceptical...

but i guess i can understand why one can be afraid of something that they have no experience with

maybe the asking price is too low?

well if noone is interested
i may be forced to buy this baby after all...(although it might take a like 4 more months to sort out my finances)
