i got the motor with the wiring harness and ecu(which is the correct one) that came with it bolted in. I let the fuel pump and then tried to start my car, it would crank but just would not turn over. I tripled checked everything and my distributor was not giving any spark, so I replaced the distributor (with one that works) and I am still getting no spark. I am getting power from the ignition to the connectors, so what else could be my problem? Thanks.

 

give more info on harness,did you do nothing to the harnesses

 

Which harness are you considering the correct harness? Is it from another HF? What ecu you running? Did you add the 4 wires?

 

make sure that the connections are actually connected. it sounds stupid but on my zc swap i had it all together and it would crank over but had no fuel. anyway it was a bad connection, the pin didnt slide into the proper place and when i fixed it it worked fine. also check the ignitor. that gave me some trouble too.
