Default Stock internal LS Turbo, New Times!!

Went to the track today and I was still a little dissapointed with my 60' but still impressive, I think, for a stock internal LS with over 200,000 miles on it. And plenty of smoke to prove it

Heres my time slip rundown:

60' - 1.797
1/8 - 7.56
MPH - 94.61
1/4 - 11.73
MPH - 116.48

I've pulled a 1.71 sixty with some shitty old slicks. I was hoping these fresh ones would help me out but Im still getting the pressure right and I just started preloading the drivetrain so my sixty foot should come down a little. But Im not complaining, this engine should have popped a long time ago....

Oh yeah, setup might help

1989 CRX 2120lbs w/driver
Inlinepro t3 manifold
t3/t04e Garrett turbo
Zdyne Ecu
450cc injectors
Quaife Diff.
Jimfab traction bars
Eibach Sportlines and Tokico Illuminas
22x8x13 M/T on Lenso's (Thanks Wil @ Exospeed!!)

Saving money for a buildup now. Thinking of being the oddball and staying LS... We'll see..I wanna see how far I can push this thing, hehe.....

Very impressive man, I had a simular set up with a stock B20 and T3/T4OE turbo and could only turn 12.1's due to traction problems..

Good job...

Using the Zdyne Gold. But Im afraid that after a buildup it won't be sufficient. The map tables only go up to 7200, after that the ecu compensates with info from the lower RPM. We'll see, it may be time to sell and upgrade to OBD1 and AEM..

Thanks for the replies!!

That's the same size turbo I'm running, but the dyno #'s are not impressive running low boost. Have yet to turn up the boost. I hope I put down an et like yours.

LOL....it still has tags, but If I drive it on the street I will be tempted to race so it stays in the garage.

No, Idea...I just butt dyno'd it with the Zdyne. I may take it to Englishtown for Spring Nationals, if it hasn't blown up. The last couple times we went they had free dyno runs, but I didn't have my car. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a free run in...

Mine was not very impressive at 6.5 psi. I think I ran a 14.1 or so. As soon as the boost went up, every pound seemed like 30hp, LOL...

I only put down 200 whp on a 8 psi. I'm in the process of dyno tuning right now I've just run into a few minor issues and that's why I have yet to turn up the boost. My guess is that the HP should increase quite a bit once the boost has been turned up. I'll be boosting about 15-16 psi.

That's what I'm hoping for... There was a guy who dynoed his car at the place I did. Si with B16a2 put down 280 whp on 8 psi (smaller turbo) I stood there scrathing my head . I think it was a drag kit, and I hear that's pretty typical on those kits...

Assuming everything is ironed out this week. Yes I will be running my car in April. I was going to run at the CMI event in Sac. Is Sears Point (Infineon Raceway) an 1/8 of mile or 1/4 mile? $15 every Wednesday sounds really good to me! About how many runs do you get it in?
