Default Corner light bulb replacement?

As the topic says how do you replace that bulb? It seems as if you can just pry the corner light fixture off but i dont want to break anything if you cant.

Yeah, they can be difficult to get out. You have to pry them out. However, while you are prying, pull the corner light straight out directly in front of the car. It will come out.

Another note: If i were you I would replace the white corner bulbs with yellow bulbs. I did this a few days ago and it looks so much better at night. With the white bulbs, the corner lights looked of a dull white color. Now with the yellow lights, they look nicer and the healights look more distinct. Just a thought. I am SOOO happy I did mine.

there is a screw that holds the top of the corner light in. then it pops out. it is pain to get out, but it does come out. just cuss a little!! i would agree that having amber bulbs in the corner lights as apposed to the off white ones, look much much better.

pop the hood and look on top of where the corner lights are. there is a hole there and small screw. if you do not see it, i will try to get a pic for you.

Mine were a pain in the f#cking *** to get out. I dont know why? I would recommend putting a towel or something inbetween your bumper and corner light when pulling it out... i got a big chip in my paint from pulling the light out.

I agree with Andy, replacing them with amber bulbs makes it look so much cleaner.

Yeah, I have only done two asthetic mods to the car and I am glad I did them. I did the yellow corner bulbs and I tinted my front turn signals black. Both make the car look cleaner and doen't attract attention. Two things I look for in appearnace mods.

I have tried so damn hard to get my corner lenses off but the ******* won't budge. I've tried prying and pulling them every direction, but i get nothin. They dont work, so I'm tryin to get them off to see if it's just burnt bulbs or something electrical. Any advice on how to get them off would be greatly appreciated.

no offense but anybody who considers themselves at all autotmotive inclined and can't handle these corner lenses has gotta have something wrong with them.......anyways unsrew them wiggle it around a bit just to loosen it up, and on mine i simply pried slightly between the headlight and the corner and it popped right out with NO PROBLEM.

A "trick" i used to get mine out was i put a long string/rope behind it.... then just tugged on the string for a better grip.... that got it out rather easy.

Do any of you guys who put in amber bulbs have pics? I have a nice mental image of what it would look like, but a pic wuold be nice. Im sure it wuold look better though, my headlights, corners, and turn signals are all three differant whites... its ugly

Also, this is going to be hard to explain. But when you get the corner night out, spray some wd-40 on the "metal rod thing" coming out of the corner lense.... that will make putting it back in easier too.
