Does anybody sport the Neuspeed race springs on their civic?
I was just wondering because I might get a set for like $40, it's used but still in good condition. How low is the drop and is it a good ride? I have Tenzo's on right now and it's not very good and the drop is lower in the back than the front so I want to change it out.
My buddy has those springs on his '99 Si and they left about 1/4 inch gap with stock wheels and tires. It's pretty low.
I have them on my Del Sol, lowers it 2.0" in the rear, 2.25" in front I believe. The ride height is perfect I think, its low, but not low enough so you scrape everywhere if its your daily driver.
The ride on mine, i can't really compare, because it doesn't really seem to ride any worse than stock, but thats not saying much, cause it wasn't exactly smooth stock. But its pretty good I think, i mean I'm on stock shocks, and I drive my car every day to school and back, on the highway and through city streets.
Its not really bouncy, and going over big cracks and bumps you can definetly feel it, but i mean other than that I like the way it sits, rides, & handles. Take that for what its worth.
Heres a pic so you have an idea:

Del Sol's are misleading tho, there ride hight always seems higher than civic's. expect a civic dropped on Race's to look lower than that.

I had nuespeed race springs and have also had the H & R race springs, same spring and they ride very much the same. But like bucksjosh stated Its not really bouncy, but going over cracks and bumps you can definetly feel it. But I love it, I had them on a 93 civic coupe, car was stolen and now i have the coilovers on a 95 coupe.....
For the people that posted what springs they had and the pictures of there setup = offtopic

Neuspeed Race, Neuspeed Koni Yellows. I think the front may be on the stock perch or down one notch, I dunno.
When you swap the springs on, use new struts. Neuspeed Race feels like garbage on stock struts, and eventually will ruin the strut. I suggest Konis. Its better, and easier in the long run, believe me.
They were way too low for me with 15" wheels. I hit everything on the road, the ride was total *** (what do you expect when you lower a civic though?).
My 3" exhaust bashed on every damn speedbump and eve on rocks and pebbles
I swapped them for Neuspeed sports or whatever (the green ones) and was much happier.
