Default tuned stock motor to hold me over for now... 268whp

no big numbers to brag about... but I have been driving (slow) with untuned car for so long, I finally get to enjoy boost at least for this summer.

big thanks to Gruvytune for the solid tunning and perfect A/F curves...

268whp at 10psi...
b16a2 bone stock internals along with drag 3 kit, hondata S100, 780cc injectors (less then 50% duty cycle... hehe)

hopefully I can get the fully built 2.0L stroked b16a2 motor running by next year...

feels sooo good to BOOST!

Great numbers Dustin. Looks like everything is working for you. You have been through allot with the last motor so enjoy this one for the time being. Just get some drag radials and be done for a while.

no boost creap at all... my power curve looks very linear... Gruvytune did an awesome job

yep, that was the second time up there for me... first time I had the 2.0L B16A2 but had blown headgasket... still put down almost 350whp with Torin's tunning... I still have that tunning on chip for when I get that motor running again.

here's the dyno run with blown headgasket:

yeah 268hp is plenty fast for now. the major difference between the stock motor and the bored/stroked one is low end torque! man the 2.0L makes a BIG difference, I was supprized... but after about 5krpm's or so they feel almost the same.

I had a good time going to NY both times (more fun the second time of course), the guys running the dyno shop are mad cool...
again, props to Gruvytune 100%

man, I wish!! I use Jim Ford's Superflow Dyno shop in Fulton NY. Bout 1.5hr drive for me just north of syracuse. Its a great dyno but for most purposes street tuning is all you need.

I may be looking one day to invest in a Dynapack setup so I can go mobile with it to the tracks but for now, I meet folks in Fulton for most tuning jobs.
