So I had my 94 ls painted and was about to put it on ebay, got it out of the paint shop on thursday and took it to show some friends about an hour away, then on the way home I wrecked it. A deer jumped right out of a ditch onto my passenger fender/windshield, spun the front end of the car around and I hit an oncoming truck, no one was seriously injured, there were 2 people in the truck, and me and my fiance in my car. I really don't want to part it out b/c I don't want to deal with it, The majority of the damage was on the driver's side, so I assume the transmission is good, it looks to be from what I can tell. The rear disk and suspension is good for a conversion, the psgr side suspension components, the engine block which was rebuilt right before I purchased the car, the cam gear was snapped off, so I"m sure the cam has damage. The seats, and well you guys know what all is in it. IT has tan cloth interior, which sucks I know! but it'd be great if anyone needed it for parts, b/c I need any money I can get at the moment.

Summary:
GSR hydro tranny 42k miles, smooth!
New Clutch, Throwout bearing (500 miles)
Rebuilt bottom end/head (head may have damage due to cam gear)
Everything doors back is ok

how did you guys like the new paint?

 

the guy who I had pick it up today called to let me know there is a grapefruit sized hole in the transmission where the front mount bolts (used to bolt) to. SO if anyone wants the car for the transmission internals, block, head, rear disk, intake manifold ?, etc....

It looks like it came off of a mini truck from 1991.

Car looks pretty bad though! Hope you can get it parted out decently

 

Haha yeah it was a little ricey (the paint) but I got the car and it wasn't really what I wanted, so I wanted to put some paint on it that would help it sell...

 

hahah god that car looks like someone dropped a cow from the sky man, i almost hit a dear the other day, that would suck. Good thing ur not sad though, id be ******* hella depressed if i lost my car and no money. G luck, how many miles on the engine by the way.

 

yeah I hit a deer, then spun into a truck. The car has 170k and the engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has less than 10k total on it now. The cam gear was broken off so i'm sure the cam needs changed, and the PS pump was knocked off....so someone would just have to check it out. I'll sell it cheap though, just need the $

really sorry to everyone who wants me to ship stuff, I hope you guys can understand that I don't want to deal with it anymore. The car has just been bad luck for me since I've bought it. I really want someone to buy the whole car, people to come and get what they want. IF I cant sell it like that in a couple of weeks, I may go part it myself. But it is @ a junkyard about 30 mins away, I'm really sore and still going to the doctor, and don't really have time. Thanks to everyone.

may be parting out soon...if i can sell the tranny I will (it is the most valuable thing probably.)

 

someone buy this...the outer tranny casing has a hole *where the mount goes* but you can get the case for like 50-100 bucks, and the tranny is awesome. 42.6k miles on it...someone needs it for the tranny, block, rear disk, seats, etc??

 

ill try to take the tranny and everything needed for a manual conversion. i hope all of its in good condition. i sent an im to you. lemme kno if you get it

Pm's replied, yes sikciv666 I was painting it to sell, and was very seriously considering buying your hatch. It really bites b/c now I'm left with not enough money for it. I am selling off what I have to raise funds, maybe when I get a little more saved you'll still have it..
