Default Clutch need replacement?

I have a CM stage 4. Have had it for over a year. A lot of driving/a lot of racing/lots of abuse Anyways, it does feel like it's not grabbin as hard lately. Also been noticing that I have trouble at times shifting higher RPMs (8200-8500).

My mechanic suggested going with an ACT unit. Says he sees less of this problem with ACTs (thinks my pressure plate is going)

Anyone else have the same prob with a CM stage 4?

How do you guys like ACTs?

are you using a cable or hydro clutch? if cable maybe a clutch adjustment is in order... otherwise maybe your clutch is possibly showing signs of extensive wear...
