i would also like to know...
i was rushed for time a little bit but this is pretty much how i did it from what i remember...
take off the side skirts and clean them so all the dirt and **** is off.
then i sanded them down with 250?, then 400.
i then sprayed 3 coats of Duplicolor white primer.
then sanded that down with 600.
then it was time for 3 more coats of primer.
sand with 800.
next came 3 coats of Duplicolor import auto spray.
sand with 800.
two more tcoats then sand.
i then applied the last coat of paint and after that dried i hit them with 5-6 heavy coats of Duplicolor clear coat.
the result is much cleaner looking car
there are numberous combinations of how to do this as far as how many coats to apply and when to sand it but this worked well for me. btw i taped off the ends of the side skirt because i was told that is how they look on type r's. i also sprayed the top and the bottom (only to the party where the screw type things are).
oh and i reccomend the trunk brace to everyone. nice mod for $25

with the car being completely stock i noticed a good difference in the rear being stiffer, much quicker (idk if thats the right description) cornerning.
and i just used aerosol cans to paint the side skirts

The rear trunk bar is subjective.
You may fee that it is stiffer, but no way to prove it by the butt dyno.
I had a rear trunk bar and autocrossed with it for 5 events. I recently took it off and sold it. Autocrossed again, and it didn't make a difference.
Hard to say it did anything, but I seriously thought it was a waste of $25.

Because when they are used in conjunction with all of the other chassis upgrades you will then notice the difference.
Also the ITR brace is bolted to the back wall of the trunk?

haha -- i've run around with the rear bar off of my ITR just for the hell of it and didn't notice much, if any, of a difference. i'm still convinced that particular bar is a placebo.
BTW, the front and rear of the ITR skirts ARE painted but i actually think i like your way better -- your's came out really well.

$25 for the paint, primer, clearcoat and sand paper all from Kragen.
maybe i notice the difference because i don't have the thick sway bar that itr's have??? or maybe it is psychological, but i really don't think it is
