Aren't they a good domestic part maker? Looks like they're trying to widen their product line, I bet they're fine

Then it all comes down to pricing and how competitive they are (something they might not know about with VWs).

Sound like the Probes and a handlefull of lesser known companies that sell h beams that are supposively made in taiwain and sold private labely to other companies to resell. The probes are also in the same price range at 260-280.

Scat is close to where I live. One of my friends that had fully built bug really praised there stuff. And would say that "all of there stuff is high quality".

Is there really any differences in those rods though? There is atleast a half dozen companies out there putting there name on what seems to be the exact same product.

Scat is one of the best known companies in the V8 world

Scat makes as good or even better IMO cranks and rods than Crower.

All the 4340 and fordged cranks sold at GM, Mopar, and Ford are all Scats.

Personally I would use Scat rods anytime without missing a beat

Scat is well known for their quality billet cranks too.
