That's what came in my box, too, and that's what it's supposed to be. If you look at the numbers on all four springs, you should notice a difference. Those are the spring rates, and the 8's are heavier and supposed to go up front, the 6's in back. The coils should be the same height.
RJ, shouldn't this be in an equipment category?

...and I'd never encourage people I don't know to make their street cars do anything but understeer at the limit.

Why don't you just ask your question instead of trying to turn this into some kind of riddle. Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see any problem with what you've received.

he's referring to these 'coilcones' - on ots ground controls, the rear sleeves are taller than the fronts, but skunks' sleeves are the same length. you'll have to spin the collar fairly high on the rears to get acceptable ride height. you should be fine.
i would not recommend putting the 300# up front and the 400# rear. i found the 300# in front way too soft. ride 400F/300R until you can get your hands on a stiffer spring for the rear. i found an additional pair of used springs for sale on here for like $50 and now ride 400/400, a good compromise for street & track i think.
in other words, springs with 008 up front, 006 rear for now.

i'd do that
i'd do that
JeffS is staying a good point that maybe we shouldn't be suggesting "rotation friendly" setups to people who are only driving on the street. Of course this is the RR/Ax forum (good point GSpeedR!).

My fault. I missed that sentence in between the pictures.
