How much money should i be spending on Auto->Manual?
Well i'm a total newb to car even though i love them. Starting to hate this auto and can't wait til i transfer to get a new car but if i was serious enough to do a change what parts would i be needing from a LS auto to a GSR vtec manual?
and how much would i be spending parts+labor?
i love driving but auto just sucks...

It would be MUCH easier and cheaper to sell you car and buy a manual instead of converting it. Especially if you plan on selling it at a later date. I would NEVER buy a car where it was converted from auto to manual.
Well with the pedal assembly, tranny, ecu, IM/TB, clutch hard lines, slave/master cyclinder, shift linkage, etc.
Now if you're buying a gsr swap its much much easier to do and probably worth your time.

I had it done to my civic, ls swap, turbo kit install, auto to manual, nitrous hook up, gauges hook up for 1200. When i didnt know how to do this stuff on my own. So i dont know how much he would charge to do auto to manual buy its self. He said he would of charged me more if i didnt do it with the swap

My thoery is KISS(keep it simple stupid)
Don't mess with things you don't have to, the more things you modify on your car, the more chances you have of something going wrong. Besides why spend the $ on the conversion? Sell the car, and find a manual for the same price.
No work, no $ spent

Agreed, but if you are dead set on doing it I have heard it costs around 600-700 depending on the tranny you use
