ive searched already but mostly everything is on a s2k conversion. anyway, i just took out my sound system and unplug the rcas from the back of my pioneer deck. the antenna would go up when the radio was on before. everything is wired up, the antenna wire is plugged in but the antenna no longer comes up. i get reception from radio stations but its very fuzzy. anyone know why my antenna no longer comes up? any help would be great. thanks.

 

It's possible that the motor is no longer functioning. I'd give you my old antenna but I can't remember what I did with it. Why not go with the S2000 one?

 

im pretty sure the motor should work because it was working a few days ago and the car is fairly new still. but that could be the problem. any other suggestions?

 

i just put in a Pioneer radio in and i had the same problem. It was a blue wire that i didn't connect to another blue wire. So maybe on yours the wire got disconnected. Double check all the wires again.

 

Your antenna mast probably just snapped. Its a common problem and can be replaced for about $25.

 

get the s2k antenna, it looks better anyways

ya mine broke too, too lazy too fix it but when i do i want to put the S2K antenna on.

i unpluged mine so it wouldn't come up. that damn antenna comes up so high, it looks like i'm trying to contact E.T...
