DONT BUY anything from STREETSTYLER.com, they sent my friend a fucked up lip, and he complained bout it. they said send it back, and theyll refund his money.
now he sent the lip back, they never respond to any of his emails.

I work for StreetStyler.com and that customer returned the lip and arrived last Friday 2/20. Today is Monday 2/23. I know because this happened just recently enough to remember it. His order is being refunded even though the lip is in good enough shape to be painted and installed. Some minor scracthes from shipping that can easily be painted over. Other than that the lip is perfect. We sell thousands of them per month. How is that bad business? Like any other store, refunds take 3-5 business days to clear from the bank to the credit card. And I was the one who replied to his emails so I have no idea what you are talking about Al. The guy told us he was shipping the lip back 2 weeks ago and didn't send it back right away. That's our fault? Your message does not have all of the facts. His refund was processed before I even found this post. If anyone has any doubts call us or even me. I would understand if we didn't refund the guy after 2 weeks or later. But it has not even been 2 days. Your message Al was so uneccessary and unfair to people who read this, who can actually benefit from buying parts from us.

In defense of the street whatever, it DOES take a long *** time to do refunds.. They need to wait till they get the lip back and then start up the transaction. If he sent the lip back on friday, you need to wait till at LEAST tuesday or so to get confirmation that the money was refunded

i work customer service/insurance for AAA so based on what the guy from streetstyler.com was stating, the fact that your friend got his refund back is great.
some companies charge a restocking fee and what not. some offer no refunds. some ignore you completely.
i think this thread should be locked.

OH YAH ONE MORE THING:
i have a head unit..eclipse 8443 with a 1 year theft guarantee.
one night it gets stolen.
after calling the company every other week, i got my replacement head unit after 2 and a half months. this is a 400 dollar head unit. 2 and a half months without fuccin music in my car. i spent good money on the thing, and they lag when i provided all the proper documentation, receipt, ID, police report within a week.
unless i see a horrible picture of a lip, then i don't think u should down streestyler like this.

i saw the lip, and i helped my friend take some pictures of it... that thing was way too damaged and packaged too poorly.. he bought it as NEW... theres no such thing as paying "bent up lip" condition... he deserved a full refund and not loose out on money from shipping as well because that was not his mistake of poor shipping, responsibility should have went to street styler.
but bottom line... if refund was issued, case closed. everyone can be happy.
side note: whoever is doing business -- a customer has a right to know status 24/7 if you are unable to provide information, and lack responsibility to reply to emails you shouldnt be doing business
