Duckbill spoiler
Hi
Ive seen a billion pics of EG's with the CF duckbill spoiler.
My question:
Is there 2 different types? Or are they all the same?
Ive noticed that someitmes they look like they stick up really high at like a 70 Degree angle. And sometimes they seem to be more flat and run smoother with the body of the car.
The replica ones I have seen seem to stick UP more then the JDM **** one. Maybe its just the angle of the pictures though.
Post some pics of yours if you have and name the brand if you will.
Thanks!!

Re: Duckbill spoiler (mike93eh)
pic *****...
most of them are around the same but as you can see the the autodynamic one looks a bit more vertical, of course there is an EXTREMELY large price difference between those few mentioned as well so shop around if you plan on buying one.

The one on the yellow hatch in the autodynamic picture is actually the spoon one. The spoon actually looks like a duckbill and sticks up a lot. The imitation ones, JDM ****, BKNW, autodynamic all are much flatter than the spoon one. The VIS one is kinda in between, steeper than the others, but not nearly as steep as the spoon.

Was it more aggressive like the spoon one? Or was it more subtle like JDM **** etc

Re: Duckbill spoiler (rodrez)
I've had a real Spoon wing on my old EG hatch, long before we carried our current CF duckbill wings.... quality was "ehh" for the name of it, and with the straight cut on the side, it was kind of nasty looking and hollow. But at least it fit good on the glass, like the current CF duckbill wings we carry now. The VIS ones, even though they look nice with rolled edges, the fitment is really poor with huge gaps and poor roof clearance when openning up the hatch. For me, I'd be more worried about how the wing fits before how it looks/stands. FYI, anyone selling a CF duckbill wing for under 2 bills usually does not have the "Spoon stance" and that includes all of those ebay wings that use the Spoon website pics for their stuff and then you get a totally different looking wing. Just do your homework on it and find places (like what I did) that have actual fitment pics of their own actual product.... and at different angles too, close up and not far away as you can't see **** when it's more than 5 ft away.

Re: Duckbill spoiler (Touch)
I have the autodynamics one. It was cheaper so i got it. fit is alright and it flairs up a pretty good, but not as much as the looks of vis one.

You forgot to show the underside where the cracks are and the white edging...I'll say it again BKNW
