Just stick your fingers along the edge and pull up.
I never even thought about it, but those things are
funny looking.

All dealers can get it, some just are too lazy to put the extra effort in to order one for you.

Yeah, and I'm talkin' out of my *** because I misunderstood what exactly the finger latch is. I have a '92 and didn't even know such a thing existed until now.

I pull up on the base of the wiper and always wondered why there wasn't something there to grab on to. Now I know.

What #'s exactly need to be ordered? I'm not sure I'm looking at it correctly.

12, 14, and 15...or just #14?

TIA.

I've tried twice now ordering once from that pic, and another time from a pic of a VX. And both times I got a handful of the incorrect parts.

And forget about finding it in the junkyard. Either that stuff has been taken already, is broken, or it has been removed and sold off to the glass junkyards.

I got the plugs for the back and I made it work with some washers and a bolt, but I have a big empty bracket where the rear wiper motor once was and I need to replace it with something smaller and cleaner.

So does anybody know what all number(s) are needed from that diagram? I want to get a hook for my hatch.

Just go look at you hatch, see what pieces you already have, and order what youdont. Mine already has the hook so I can't help you.

1G CR-V's come with a piece that will bolt right up to the Civic hatch. Did it on my '92 Si and it works like a charm. It's not the exact same part number as the Civic piece, but it works and the dealer will have no problem getting them compared with a 9+ year old p/n. Order the little **** itself and the rubber gasket and you'll be set.
