Local shop has K20A2 15k miles for $2800
A local muffler/machine shop here in GA (near buford) has a K20A2 with 6-speed tranny for $2800. He told me to let some of my friends know about it and see if they were interested. Somebody totalled their RSX Type-S at the shop but the motor was untouched. The motor has just under 15k miles and looks brand new. If anybody is interested, pm me and i'll give you their number... they've also got a nice set of black enkei rims for $450, will sell pretty damn fast he said.
NOTE: The shop owner really wants someone to pick it up locally!

uh....that motor is pretty much useless without the matching ecu...unless you know how to get the code for the ecu from the dealership...even then, they won't give it to you unless you have the VIN (clean VIN) from the motor...

Well it's hard to rip all of that out of the car, so you gotta hope you come across one of the dealer's that don't ask for info when you want the stuff.

dealers always ask what the ecu is for and they ALWAYS check now for VINs and stuff.

1 if he can't ship it, he doesn't deserve the free advertising
B a VIN needs to be provided to a mod
III Why would a totaled motor not have the ECU?
