92-95 Civic CX Hatch swap. 1.8 non-vtec
Hey guys,
Just finished this exact swap in my CRX, now our next step is in a 95 Honda Civic CX. Now I was just wondering if it is a bolt in, or do any mods have to be made. What's the combination of civic/integra mounts that are needed and is there any wirring mods needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Dude,And for future reference,do a search so no one flames the $hit outta you. Well for that swap,You will need the integra mounts, axles, shiftlinkage, rad hoses, longblock, tranny, and ecu thats about everything i can think about for now.
Oh yea, you'll need something to convert to obd1 like a conversion kit because your motor is Obd2

Oh no prob dude, Its not that we ve never done swaps before, we ve done all kinds. I know exactly what we need. I was just wondering about any wirring mods i should know about.. It seems to me something had to do with the distributor.. Thats why I'm just making sure before we begin.
Appreciate it.

obd2 b18b engine harness will plug right into the cx shock tower harness. Use an obd1 b18b ecu, and you should be good to go. I didn't have to wire up the 4 wire o2 sensor for my swap, the wiring was already on the shock tower-ecu harness and since I used the integra harness, and not the cx one I was fine.
You'll need the integra throttle cable as well, unless you want to make a custom bracket.

He's the only correct one in this topic.
You will keep the Integra engine harness, distributor, alternator, injectors, etc.
For mounts you will need the Integra complete timing side mount and bracket, both front mount BRACKETS, and rear BRACKET.
Use your stock Civic rear mount, topside tranny mount, and both front rubber "horseshoe" mounts bolted to the Integra brackets.
If you want to keep A/C buy a 1994 Del Sol VTEC A/C mount and use the Civic compressor.
Wiring?
The OBD2 Integra harness plugs right into any 1992-1995 Civic underhood harnesses on the strut tower areas.
How do I know?

That's my 1998 "OBD2" B18C5 plugged into my 1992 CX chassis harness.
As for the ECU, but an OBD1 P75 LS ECU and it will plug right in.
You will not have to add one single wire to this swap if you run the Integra engine harness and OBD1 LS ECU - period.

So you're using an LS ecu with your B18c5? I'm buying a Civ hatch (B18C5 engine swap) for play. Need to know all details.....
Can you use the same ecu setup with JDM B18C5 engine? What's your HP output with this setup?

No.
I run a rechipped P28 ECU for my B18C5. I was telling him to get an LS ECU for his B18B.

For any specific details about mine such as whp, 1/4 mile times, wiring, etc. simply do a search under archived topics and you'll find tons of info on it if you seach for topics created by me.
