I threw up the idea of having a long awaiting SoCal ITR meet, in the other thread created by Greg (joker) but that thread went to **** realllllllly fast, so i decided to make another thread to discuss location/time/date and anything directly related to making this meet happen. (NOT MAD MOUTHING EACHOTHER AS TO WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH OUR CARS)

It seems like the majority of the people interested would prefer a Sunday over a Saturday, and the date chosen was 2/22/04, and seems like another Aliso beach meet is in popular demand so the current location is Aliso Beach. We can hang out there, BBQ, eat, drink have a good time...then for those interested we can take a nice drive on PCH.

If anyone has any opinions, or thinks another location/date will be better chime in and lets see what AGREEMENT we can come too, its hard to please everyone, but with some compromise we can get it done.

Glad to see another Aliso Beach meet comin up. I tried starting one months ago, but I guess it was a bit too soon. That, and I'm a n00b. Hopefully people will respond to a seasoned H-T member like Arno cause it's been a while since I've seen the SoCal R family.


George - who sees quite a few mean local R owners, none of which are H-T members......then again, maybe they're not mean, maybe I'm just too nice :shrugs:

Whats the word on having a BBQ? I heard someone in the other thread bad mouthing Louie's carne asada saying it tasted like crap or something like that. I don't know if he wants to dissprove them at the meet and show us how delicious it really is, but hey, thats on him. Anyway, I would be more than happy to pitch in and help out for anything that is needed

Ditto. Maybe we should make up a list of what people should bring so the burden isn't laid on just a couple people.

 

Louie's carne is second to none, and if anyone disagree's they got a problem. Seeing that louie paid for the entire carne meal himself last time, we need to take it into our own hands to provide him with either the money for the carne or the carne, (that is if he is feeling better and able to make it to the meet, and more importantly if he is willing to amaze us once again with that wonderful cooking skills of his) If he is unable to make it im sure we will figure something out.

Edit: No you dont need to have an ITR to come to the meet, anyone is welcome, however i would specifically like as many as the old school ITR owners to make it as possible, like i mentioned its been a while.

lol I know his carne is good silly, I only said that to sike him up so he would cook for us! Ofcourse I would be more than happy to pitch in money, infact, I have my trustee portable grill that I wouldn't mind bringing too!!

i missed the last one but i'll definetly make it to this one. I think everybody should at least chip in a $1 for food or bring some. just my suggestion.

You're a ex itr owner so i guess we can make an exception...j/k....everyone is welcome no matter what they drive, however i would like all the old skoo ITR owners to come out if possible.

I'll let this thread go another few days, maybe until this weekend, let the word get around then i will start making a list of people coming.
