Difference in VTEC and non-VTEC oil pumps B-Series
How can you tell a VTEC from a non-VTEC oil pump in a B-Series. Reason I'm asking is cause I have a jdm b20 block and they're supposely equipped with a VTEC oil pump and I just want to make sure its the original one.
a B16 and B20 oil pump are the same
I think GSR and LS are the same
and I know ITR has a different one from all

here ya'll go:
part# 15100-PR4-A03:
OBDI Non-VTEC Teg
part#15100-PR3-024:
OBDI GSR
OBDI Del Sol VTEC
part#15100-PR3-A01:
OBDII GSR
ITR
OBDII non-VTEC Teg
OBDII Del SOl VTEC
CRV
99-00 Si
looks like all OBDII B-series motors use the same pump.
did i miss anything?

yes,but the OBDI and OBDII appear to be different-i'm thinking maybe the difference is the OBDII have a mounting point for the crank flux sensor?
since they are the same part number i'm assuming they would flow the same.

the car is 96 delsol with JDM B18C-R motor
the guy who did the swap said they used my B16A2 oil pump on my new motor, and he said he can't use the Typr R oil pump...
so i wanna know if it will flow the same or not...
i just went outside and checked, it has the number p30 on the oil pump...
