Well, I finally got the last of the parts for my hooptie to get on the road again. Fuel setup alone ran just shy of $800 to the best of my recollection. I'm going to be putting it all together today and tomorrow so I'll post pictures of it once it's installed and all together. For now I'm going with -6an feed because it's what I have and the bank account is tapped out for a few weeks but I already have the -8an fittings to swap over to that and move the -6an to the return line when I'm ready for it.

Running a -10an from the sump to the filter and pump, then -6an directly to the rail, then -6an to the regulator and back to the return line. Setup is going into my 88 hatch equipped w/ an LS/vtec b18b w/ 81mm CP's 10:1 compression, eagle rods, new bearings and gaskets all around, b16 head, mild port work, Ef1 valvetrain, Gsr cams. Powered by a turbonetics t3/t4 .63 ar. Went a little overkill on the fuel setup but leaves for tons of room for improvement with no modifications down the road and for once I'm trying to have a clean setup.. Hoping for 400hp and mid to high 11's in the 1900lb motorbox.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm going for a clean car for once now. I've always been the type to throw it together and get it going asap but this time I'm being patient, I heard that it pays off or something.

Planning on running about 15psi since I got the 10:1 compression.

the funny thing is that I paid less than half that for the car it's all going into when I first got it. It was a stock dx that ran perfect w/ 227,000 miles. $440.

now, about $5k it will finally run as good as it did when it was stock.... I hope.
Got the tank pulled and cleaned/soaked in water tonight, should be welding the sump on in the morning and routing all the lines.

Looks like a killer setup. I just finished installing my fuel setup which is VERY similiar to yours. Good luck with the install.

I think you forgot to mention one of the most important factors ina fuel setup...Injectors??? I am just curious which you are running? other than that it looks really nice man!

I didn't mention injectors because I don't have any yet. I still have to break it in and pick my choice of engine management, then I'll decide which will suit my needs. I'm probably looking at some 720cc's.

Nice looking stuff... That's not too bad either, the Magnaflow Pro Star EFI 600 FP that we run on all of the high boost setups are ~$850.00, then you've gotta add everything you have rail, FPR, lines, etc. so ~$1500-2000 spent on the fuel system alone isn't out of the norm... Good Luck

can you get some pics of how you do the sump set up and how you are going to run the lines. i guess i don't understand do you weld it to the stock gas tank or do you have a fuel cell.

 

Scott (CrazyCompression) and I cut the entire top off Duc's OE gas tank and gutted the inside of it... The tank had to be acid dipped to remove the undercoating then we were able to weld the top back on along with the sump underneith... We drilled 9, 3/4 inch holes through the tank into the sump to allow fuel to drop (just be careful when you do this, these holes are best placed near the FRONT of the sump plate as you don't want your fuel to slosh out or around under acceleration)... I'm actually heading back down to school for the week but I'll try to take some pics of Duc's fuel system when I come back next week... Hope this helps
