Default Animal House Racing Bearings

Just wanted to see how many of you would be interested in a bearing Kit available for most Honda's. There would be 2 kits available at this time, Hub bearings, and a Transmission bearing kit. These bearings being lighter, smoother, harder and have lower thermal expansion than your stock ones, which allows these bearings to run at higher speeds, and higher operational temps. These bearings compared to stock are 6x stronger and 60% lighter, there by reducing the overall weight and drag, leading you to smoother operation and putting more power to the ground.
At the present time we are still doing dyno testing, and will be releasing HP numbers with in the next couple weeks. We are also developing water pump bearing kits.

Bump for a good idea.

This essentially will allow less friction between the gears in the transmission. And less rolling resistance in the wheels. Therefore this products should reduce the amount of drivetrain loss between the engine and the wheels.

How durable are these bearings?

These bearings are very durable. As speeds increase, the bearings run cooler. Which reduces heat build up, and increased lubricant life.
We replaced 2 bearings in a supercharger with a set of Animal House racing one's and gained 6WHP.

Thanks

I will be rebuilding my H22 tranny soon. Do you have H series tranny bearings available? I would definitely be down for a set.

These are not claims, the ***** are made using silicone nitrade. They are produced using a higher quality material than what is offered to the market today. Because the material is stronger and lighter they it has a smaller friction area. The material also is more resistant to heat and abuse. Less lubrication is needed to spin them.

At this point we have 3 daily driven vehicles that are equipped with our bearings. They are being tested for performance gains, and daily abuse. We are going to dyno test these vehicles this upcoming week to show the difference between the stock bearings and our own bearings.

Here is a example of the weight difference between the stock steel ***** used in the stock bearings compared to our ***** used in our wheel bearings.

My friend, claims are claims until they are backed up with data. You never mentioned anything in your original post to substantiate...... and that is your right not to state. My nature is to question, and seek data and substantiation. I am always looking for new ideas.

Keep in mind I have a keen interest in a broad range of technologies. Research I fund in tribology has recently extended the life of bearings lubricated with Krytox by 50 X (if you know what Krytox is you will know where these bearings are used), other bearing systems i fund development of run in excess of 3 Million DN, and finally I fund some non contact foil bearings and magnetic bearing systems that operate at 150,000 RPM and 1100 oF shaft and bearing temerpature. ... there are no typos in this line BTW.

I am glad that you have been so kind to describe your CERBEC balled bearings. I Thank you for the courtesy!

Ralph, do you have any of those dyno plots to show? I need to know soon for my tranny rebuild.
