Default Spoon bucket vs Mugen bucket seat ? (photos also)

Owners of both seats - please tell about what you like or dislike in Mugen or Spoon bucket seats.
Anyone has photos of Spoon bucket? I cant find them nowhere - always small pics.

Spoons are pretty uncomfortable compared to the Mugens. Feel really hard.

two schools of thought... the Spoon seats have less padding so that the driver feels more input from the car...

some race drivers prefer to remove the padding in their bucket seats so that they can feel the chassis better.

they say you feel what the front of the car is doing through your arms/steering wheel and you feel what the rear of the car is doing through your butt/seat

I'm curious why Mugen can't make better rubber seal around the harness holes. For all the Mugen S1 seats I've seen, all of them have those rubber seals seperated.

The entire seat is awesome, except for that little detail.

The Mugen seat is made of a FRP.

The Spoon seat appears to be carbon-kevlar (from the weave on the back)

Maybe this accounts for some of the difference too??

Have not sat in the spoon but i can say the S1 is very comfy. Would have never thought it but after months of seat time it's .

Not the skinniest guy either...5'10"...207lbs. 38 waist.

It's for sale btw (shameless plug).

A Spoon seat is NOTHING close to Mugen seat in terms of price.. Check it up buddy.

Mugen is "only" 899 compared to spoons usual 1200+ price tag.

1) my bad it was a simple mistake
2) i was thinking $1,426.16 i saw for the spoon was for the set, actually i don't know what i was thinking. i wasn't

would be nice if that were the price for the set though

why only those 2 as choices?

Bride Zeta 3's are @ a whopping $610 per seat, and are very comfy and is a nice race seat aswell. 140 for rails and silders.

Thats $750 per side, not too shabby.
