Default mpfi swap with d16z6 intake manifold

ive searched but havent found any info pertaining to my set up... im doing the mpfi swap on my dx, but have some questions about using a d16z6 intake manifold. first off, the z6 has a MAP sensor built into the throttle body i believe. which map should i use... on the TB or the one mounted on the firewall? i am also curious as to how to run the vacuum lines and such. thanks

alright guys.. ive got my mpfi running with d16z6 manifold. i used stock dx IAT. my tb doesnt have the map sensor in it, so i used the stock dx map sensor and purge evap selenoid. 91 Si pcv valve. #1 goes to the coolant nipple off the tube that goes to the water pump. #2 goes to #3, and #4 goes to the coolant nipple on top of the manifold. i plugged off the coolant nipple underneath the runners closest cyl #4. i did not need any T's or anything for the vacuum lines... was pretty simple once i started doing it.. hopes this helps! also, it made my intake hellaciously louder and the car sounds fast as long as your not watching it drive by or looking at the speedo ..lol. but a very worthwhile mod!

definately... i think that the z6 manifold makes a noticable difference over the a6 manifold also. the car sounds fast now, as long as you arent watching it! lol but yeah it was worth it.
