DIY: Reseting the "Maintenance required" light
With the key OUT of the ignition, press and continue to hold the odometer reset button.
Insert and turn key to "ON" position.
Wait for the green light to stop blinking.
Turn off key and remove it.
Release the odometer button.
Done.

I did it not too long ago. You can leave the key in the ignition and then press down the odometer reset button; but make sure it's in the "off" position before you press the button.
Isn't it in the owners manual? 
I know it was in my friend's 03 LX. She said it had been blinking for a couple months and the first time I rode in her car I fixed it lol.

Yes, this and other 'amazing facts are in the owner's manual. The Maint Reqd light is covered on page 64.
