Type: Inline-4, Turbocharged
Displacement cu in (cc): 112 (1839)
Power bhp (kW) at RPM: 178(131) / 6000
Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 166(225) / 4500

1.8L w/ turbo and only 178bhp?? That's hella weak!...No thanks

HAHA that's exactly what I said. 1.8T and not even 180 hp.. And they still look prissy.

have you looked at the torque? it redlines at 6500, if they could make it rev higher they could get a shitload more hp out of it. itd whoop your honda off the line, prolly through the rest of the race as well, since its light.

Jeez, some low budget turbo system they got there. Just look at the intercooler.

Same thing they did with the mazdaspeed protege. Fitted a little turbo on a stock engine running low boost.

I give Mazda props for for doing this, but I don't think the power is what I would want. I would think at least 200 with a turbo would have been acceptable.
