Miata wheels on the Civic
With the subject brought up over in the EG forum, I decided to snap some photos of my new wheels.
90-93 Miata factory allows with 205-55-14 Kumho Victoracers. The treadlife is 50 and shouldn't be daily driven....but I break all the rules
Fit over Teg front brakes also. I just threw some 1/4 inch H&R spacers over H&R extended lugs and grinded a tad off the caliper.
I think they look pretty dope....opinions??? These are my track/autocross wheels only BTW....but may turno into daily grind if I get street tires
BTW, it was cold and my friend has my tripod...deal with the shaky pics

Jon's EG on my old Spoons...playing footsie with the new kicks

Benen rear bar, 2 inch extended rear top hats, and Yellows with 500 lbs springage

I prefer these type Miata wheels but the other ones aren't bad for 14s. Nice lip action on these.

that's good then, no one's gonna care what they look like if you're owning them at the track because of your tires. I'm assuming they're reasonably lightweight too?

I put some miata wheels on the back of my car and for some reason, the wheel shook. I made sure i tightened downed the lugs pretty tight, but they were still loose....? I dunno, maybe i was imagining it.

because the Miata bore is slightly smaller, not allowing the wheel to sit flush against the rotor, which is why it wobbled. You need to have the hub bored out at a machine shop, or grind a but away with a grinder. I run H&R extended lugs and wheel spacers....so modifying the hubs is not needed.

Same specs as HX wheels but .5 inches wider and MUCH cheaper and a little more original...I guess
