Depends on what aftermarket muffler you get, you can have them weld it straight just like the stock crx muffler.

the custom systems we sell vary:
it follows the oem path, but on the back where normally a 90 goes into the muffler then a 90 out as a tailpipe, you can either take a 45 degree and run it like the N1 or jdm slanted style muffler.. or you can take the same path as oem and place the muffler horizontally:

I have a few questions for the Day Walker.
One did you do a complete custom exhaust or aftermarket or just chop off the old muffler and weild on a new one?
Two if it's a complete custom or aftermarket exhaust, does it follow the original exhaust path?
Three, if in fact it is a custom or aftermarket complete exhaust, do you have a rear sway bar and if so did you encounter any problems?
Last , if it is custom or aftermaket exhaust and isn't run down the original path ,how is it run?
Thanks-Jason

I've gotta 5Zigen Fireball muffler customed on my sedan, it's at a ****-eyed angle just cuz that's how I like canister mufflers. It's just a temp fix cuz of the stock muffler being rusted to **** and I had this sitting around. The piping hangs low as hell, and gawd is the muffler ever so damn loud!
