yea.. my 98 GSR at the time dyno'd at 145whp stock.

 

My car dyno'd 147.7 and 114 TQ. I was quite impressed. This was at ACS Racing during a DFH club meet. I can scan the dyno sheet if they want to see it.

it varies alot...varies from dynos to special motors...142-155hp

 

no one should expect a perfectly built engine out of the factory

 

GTECH pro says 142 for mine, but that was only one run, I'm sure I could've hit 145-150 if I kept at it/set it perfect/etc.

 

but it's a Honda! How in the world could Honda make a mistake? This is unheard of! I'm getting rid of it.

Well based on the dyno's of B18C's i've seen over the years, I'd say 145 is a pretty acurate general number. 134-137 for B16's and actually, word had it that 85% of the B18C5's baslined put out about 158-160whp, which mathmatically puts them in the 190ish hp range, little shy of what was expected.

 

145-150 whp stock? wow thats pretty good considering my friend with a GTI VR6 with a chip dynoed at around 145. thanks for the info.

LS engines baseline at about 120-130WHP

 

dont the ITR LSD eat up a little HP which would explain that _missing_ 5hp! :D

 

My 99 GS dynoed at 117whp (stock).

 

my 95 RS did 127 with I/E at the time.

 

That's weird...my friend with a 00 VR6 GTI dynoed at 161 hp 160 tq to the wheels with just a chip. He spanks 5G Preludes left and right...
