ok mike (salbaje) and i arranged an axle exchange roughly a week after thanksgiving. i traded my itr axles for his gsr axles. i mailed my itr axles when i said i was going to and he did not. he said that he has recieved mine and would mail his out. he told me that about 4 different times. i have called him and PM'ed him numerous times with little responses saying he will get around to it. recently he said he did mail them out and said i should recieve them on wednesday or thursday...well that was 4 days ago! i called him and PM'ed him asking for a tracking number but still nothing yet. my car is undrivable right now and has been for the last week. this is becoming a problem that has not been resolved. i will edit this post accordingly if i do recieve my axles but mainly this is a heads up to not buy from him right now. and if you know him, please help me out. thanks alot

wow.. scammers.. i was gonna say withold judgement till we get a response.. but that last post of his business transactions says it all..

 

salbaje just contacted me and said that another guy has the axles and is suppose to send them out to me. he said that he did send them out but they were sent back. mike is very sorry and said he is mailing them this friday. i will let everyone knows what happens

 

how did you contact him?

i'm having a problem with him as well and he has not responded to me..

I'm working out this problem with Tyler. And if anyone has any questions on that sour deal i had with blbvtec feel free to contact me. If you dont know the whole story dont judge me. I always make it right. I have sold many parts on this site and i admit i do procrastinate at times. Sometimes its not always the sellers fault, buyers can be at fault at times as well.

 

I bought a sc4 tranny from salbaje, took his sweet time to send it, but got it and works great.

 

salbage is from the bay area, i know that for sure.

just wanted to update everyone.. I received a refund for the wrong part he had sent me, and our situation is settled. He was slow, but did eventually rectify the problem..

Salbaje is still a good guy in my eyes. He does make things right. You cant help it if people are busy or things happen. You will get your axle.... I'm sure salbaje will keep his word!

 

It sounds like he's not a bad guy, just one of those laggers

 

well he is trying to make it all right. i didnt think that he was going to scam me but i did have to make it known that it was taking forever. he is giving me a full refund on monday for 150 for the axles since i had to buy different ones. so hopefully all works out

 

wow luckly i read this, i put a wtb for 91 integra axles and he said he have them i was thinking of buying it off him until i read this. good thing i search before i buy off this guy.

Obviously you haven't read any more than the first 3-4 posts, because I don't see why you'd be "lucky" to read this. Stupid people who look at the "top" of things, literally in this case

I would consider him "lucky". Why would he want to buy some axels that he probably needs NOW from a guy that EVERYONE on this post that he has dealt with says he takes for ever to get their product out? Getting a good deal is awesome but sometimes you'd rather pay a little more to get faster better service

 

i don't get why he got a hammer for that.. I think he's entitled to feel lucky.. I've been involved with this thread and a lot of people's issues with Salbaje for a bit of time now.. I think he made a fair statement..

it has been shown that he does eventually come through in one way or another, but that it does take quite a bit of time. for someone who needs something quick, or likes quicker responses, he should see another seller.
