Default jdm rear bumper issue

i got my jdm rear ef9 bumper for my 91 hb, i was wondering which rear bumper surport did you guys or girls use also to attach your license plates becasue on the jdm rear bumper surport doesn't have a place to screw them on to.o yeah i did a search but but couldn't find a good enough description.

i used the jdm rear bumper support, umm..... i used oem usdm 88-91 license plate mounts from majestic.

too tired tonight to tired it out but are you guys for sure that i was suppose to use the jdm surport because its sticking out to much.



did this happened to you? or should i bang in the car about half an inch to an inch where the its suspose to bolt it to move the bumper in?

The rear 'filler piece' in between the bumper and lights is different on the JDM car. It has a different shape and sticks out farther. If you work with it you can get it to line up pretty good. Here is mine after hours of taking it off and on to get it right...

Thanks fellas. Try to space out the filler piece in the back and see if that helps any.

I would guess that it does, mine's a USDM part with the key hole shaved.

That is a custom cage we made out of DOM tubing, no kit used.

I'm using an ingalls kit to fix the camber for now.

It does, but funny thing is the JDM filler peice I am told and have seen in pictures has the key hole located a bit farther over and doesnt line up with the USDM key hole.

You are correct. I almost purchased a JDM filler panel but i noticed that the key hole was off.

It sounds very good to me, it's not loud or ratty sounding at all. I love it.

I used a 2.5" Carsound CAT, 22" Magnaflow resonator and a Maganflow oval style muffler. I got all the parts from here...
