I have 88 crx dx with zc dohc
i am installing a tachometer one of the ones with the shift light i picked up for a good deal. I am confused where to wire it up to.

I looked at the distrib and didnt know which wire to use and also what to use for the ignition wire and lighting wire.

Blue Wire on the Dizzy on My caR (b18a1) it's like the Green wire from the tach to the blue. black is negative....white goes to like your lighter thing in your car or a head light/parking light fuse so you can turn it on and off when you turn on and off your headlights/parking lights/ and red it goes to a positive. and behind the tach cut the two wires that loops because you gotta 4 cylinder.

your tach if an AUTOMETER tach right? well if it's not then i dont know but the directions above are for autometers. Does anyone else have an easier way to hook a tach up?

thats how i wire them up the rpm wire (blue) is in the two wire plug at the dizzy, not the 7 wire plug (just in case)

 

red goes to a +12 volt, could tap it at the fuse box if you want
