I honestly can not see how you could fix that head. The block maybe, but not the head.

ok i talked to him and he said from the looks of my block it would no be worth re-sleeving.
"I think you are history on that block. For a good sleeve install, you need good aluminum at the bottom of the block. The cost to weld up that area would be more than buying a new core. Sorry." -Earl
i guess you live and you learn the hard way. always the hard way for me

me either...maybe 600 could fix it, but you could buy a whole new D Longblock for that much. or less.
good luck

damn sorry that happened to you bro..the head is rebuildable.. so is the block.. but the money your gonna spend to fix the block is not worth it if the crank is fuked up or a hole in the block, fuked up oil pump etc.... if its just the cylinder walls, you have an option to go 84mm resleeved.. but yeh same thing happened to me with my b16a.. dropped a valve in my cylinder and it blew up the engine.. cost me less than $400 to fix my head at my local machine shop..took about 1 week and a half to fix.. using the same head for my ls/v and no problems at all
well i already have a b16 that i threw in for now. im just tryin to see if i can salvage something. if anything is worth rebuilding i would like to do that otherwise ill just junk it.
