Default Removing and plugging up rear wiper ***

i dont know if this has been covered already, but its a free, easy way to get rid of the rear wiper on your integra.

look to the right of your battery. there is a black rubber plug. pull it out with some pliers.

after removing the wiper motor etc, this plug will fit right in. the plug is the same exact size of the whole in the glass, but it is not deap enough to stay secure by itself. just put a little silicon around the edge and pop it in.

again, sorry if this has been covered already, but i looked forever trying to find a plug that fit. this worked perfectly for me. hope it does for you.

I did it the same thing this weekend..
Looks much nicer.. Just don't stand to close to your truck when you open, it flys open now.

How hard was it to swap to honda emblems?

mine doesnt fly open. my doesnt even stay open. of course its because the shocks are bad.

changing the emblems is easy, finding the emblems that match up(two prongs on the back), not so easy.

Anyone know what the plug's original purpose was? I mean, it must be there for a reason right?

i found my plug at the pick n pull. $1. didn't look in my DA to see if the plug was the same or in the same spot. but, i didn't get to put my plug on as i found a new use for the rear wiper, clearing snow as it is falling very hard while driving. oh well, i'll wait till summer and regret it next winter. but it'll look nicer.

good post man! my friend used other plugs but from a different car tho, an accord I believe, but it was metal. the only thing is that its an original honda part and its expensive to get. also there is another plug that goes over the antenna too. maybe ill post that when i figure out how to do it. other than that, thanks for the info

lol. yea this plug has been gone over many times. I did it on my own integra without using silicon. It's been a few months and no problems what so ever. No leaks, hasn't flown off, nothing.

the plug i used fit the whole perfect, but the plug was not deep enough to be pushed in securely. i put a little scilicone around it and now its water tight. I have not had any leaks yet, and dont expect to.
