Does anybody have any experience with Direct Ignition System like the ones in F20C and K20A engines??? I have seen Ultra makes a direct ignition system for B16A and B18C engines and they show about 14 hp gains in the B16B engine.

Everyone always says the ingnition system is adequate...

...but I'd like to see some data, myself.

Is that the Jacobs "Ultra" system?
Would be nice, though I bet they advance the timing or something (is it also supposed to control cylinders individually)!?

Well, I am talking about the system that you don't need to run your original distributor. This unit is all computerize and I just wonder how good is it.

that looks like a pretty steep setup. Did you notice any gains? How much did that system run you?

i haven't go to drag strip yet...so i have no idea
hopefully i will go there later

the MDI makes good torque, and the M's Filter has a good top end power
