Default h23 direct port?

what up,
hey i was wanting to know if any of you h23 guys
are using a diret port system on your ride,
do you think that a single fogger system does a good
enough job spreading evenly within the cylinders
this would be on a built up block
thnx for the info
chris

single fogger is IMO dangerous than a dry kit. does not spray evenly like a direct fogger would. direct fogger is the best way to go. im going that route on my car. i want a turbo but a NOS direct fogger system would do. poor-mans answer to high hp ...

nos use to sell it and discontinued it or it never went to production. goes where plenum connects to the intake runners, but if wanted you could custom make it.

you could have an aluminum custom flapper made(for probally a couple hundred bucks from a local machine shop...I was under the impression NOS only made it for the GSR. I actually am assembling a direct port for my h22 ad it cost me less than $300 to gather the peices..but I did get most the peices for hella cheap. Direct port is the best way to distribute the nitrous evenly to each cylinder.
good luck.

A single fogger is plenty reliable. There are 10,000 cars using them with zero problems.....a single wet fogger is better than a dry kit and very reliable up to a 75 shot on a stock lude......

a single wet fogger is better than a dry kit but i rather not take my chances w/ a back fire. i dont know of anyone that is comfortable w/ spraying gas b4 the throttle body.

Not to dog you or nothing, but there isnt much relevance to that statement. Never in all my years as a prelude owner or as a nitrous junky have I ever heard of an H series motor having a nitrous backfire....and I have talked to DOZENS of nitrous heads here and at PO. You wil not backfire with a correctly installed wet fogger. Not gonna happen. Yes, DP is the best system by far, but it is a waste of money if your not spraying a big shot. Talk to laughin, or some guys on HT with alot of nitrous experience, they will all agree that a wet fogger is just fine. None of us have had any problems. You will have more problems trying to spray a tiny DP shot that a small sot on a fogger setup.

<75 shot: single fogger or dry kit. I prefer wet kits, but both are safe.
>75 shot: DP. Simple as that. There's no better way to distribute nitrous evenly to each cylinder(The NOSzles setup may be better, but damn it's expensive.)

Direct port is simply the best way to go w/ a higher shot, although I will be spraying between an 80-100 shot on an NOS fogger setup.

This is how I would rig up the DP if I had it:

The butterfly valves are in a plastic body I believe, and you would just drill and tap a hole in each runner; easiest way to do it, IMO.
